From October 6, an event "Youth for Safety!" will take place in the Vitebsk Region.

From October 6 to 17, a republican information and awareness campaign 'Youth for Safety!' will take place throughout Belarus.

The aim is to promote the activities of the Belarusian Youth Public Organization of Rescuers and Firefighters, the profession of a rescuer-firefighter, civic and patriotic education, prevention of fires and loss of life, promotion of a safe and healthy lifestyle, revealing creative potential, and uniting young people – young rescuers in a useful cause.

As part of the information campaign, rescuers have set several tasks, the main ones being to raise public awareness about the activities of the Belarusian Youth Public Organization of Rescuers and Firefighters, its goals, objectives, and directions, thereby attracting youth to the ranks of young rescuers. Additionally, the organizers are confident that engagement with the movement can foster a culture of safety among adolescents.

One of the focuses of the information campaign will be activities to assist veterans of the Great Patriotic War, lonely pensioners, and individuals with disabilities.

As part of the event, various activities will take place in all regions of the Vitebsk region, drawing the attention of the younger generation to the profession of a rescuer and the movement of young rescuers. Events will include bike rides, talk shows, balls for young rescuers, and many other activities united by one goal – to instill a culture of safety among adolescents and attract them to the public organization of rescuers and firefighters.
