One way to protect your life may be to install autonomous fire alarms. This device is the most effective means of detecting smoke in the house in the shortest time and allows you to take measures to protect your family and property from fire.

Generally, smoke rises to the ceiling and then spreads along it, so the most preferred location for the alarm is on the ceiling in the middle of the room. The smoke detector can also be installed on the ceiling near the wall, but not closer than 10 cm from it, or on the wall at a distance of 10 to 30 cm from the ceiling. The corners between the walls are the least ventilated places in rooms, so when installing ceiling and wall detectors, it is not recommended to place them closer than 50 cm from the corner. Additionally, the device will be ineffective if placed in a closet or covered with clothing.

The smoke detector is installed using two screws. A battery of the type 6LR61 (commonly known as a 9V battery) is inserted inside, which needs to be replaced approximately once a year.

A flashing red LED signal located on the body of the detector indicates its operability and that it is in standby mode. Moreover, the detector will alert you when it is time to replace the battery. It is unfortunate that a device capable of freeing people from indifference to their own safety has not yet been invented.
