Functions and Tasks of the Braslav District Executive Committee

The District Executive Committee manages the economy, market reforms, foreign economic activity, enterprises and organizations in transport and communications, housing and communal services, energy, the construction sector, the service sector, healthcare, the development of physical culture, sports and tourism, as well as the fields of education and culture, social protection, and public information.

The work of the District Executive Committee is carried out in cooperation with the heads of enterprises and associations located in the district, bank managers, public organizations, political parties, trade unions, mass media, educational institutions, creative unions, law enforcement agencies, and charitable organizations.

The District Executive Committee is the executive and administrative body in the district and exercises its powers in accordance with the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus, the Law of the Republic of Belarus of January 4, 2010 No. 108-Z "On Local Management and Self-Governance in the Republic of Belarus" and other legislative acts.
