There are 49 settlements located in the territory of the village council, where as of January 1, 2025, 790 people reside. The village of Teterki is located 25 kilometers from the city of Braslav. The village council borders the Akhremovetsky and Slobodkovsky village councils of the Braslav district, the Iodsky and Bildyugsky village councils of the Sharkovshchina district, and the Perebrodsky village council of the Miory district. The length of the border is 88.2 km.
The territory of the village council includes lands of the KUSP "Braslavsky", branches in the agrotown Ikazn of the OAO "Slobodka – agro", the peasant (farm) economy of Kozlovsky A.N., the peasant (farm) economy "Zapruzhany", the peasant (farm) economy "Ukliano", the peasant (farm) economy "Ukljanskoye".
There are 3 feldsher-midwife points functioning (in the ag. Ikazn, Milki, and d.Borodenichi), Ikazn Rural House of Culture, Milkovsky club-library, Ikazn library, 2 stores (1 store of the Verkhnedvinsk branch of the Vitebsk regional consumer society No. 30 in the agrotown Ikazn and a private store of IP Vikhrovaya M.), a postal service point in the agrotown Ikazn.
Attractions of the village council: the Church of St. Joseph in the village of Borodenichi, the Church of the Body of Christ in the agrotown Ikazn, the St. Nicholas Church in the agrotown Ikazn, the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church of the Old Believers Pomor Church in the village of Buyevshchina.
