"Thin Ice" on the Braslav Lakes

From January 3 to January 10, 2026, a special preventive event titled ‘Thin Ice’ will take place in the Braslav District, aimed at preventing fatalities in water bodies during the winter period. During these days, rescuers, together with representatives of the Belarusian Society for the Rescue of People in Water (OSVOD) and law enforcement officers, will conduct preventive raids on water bodies.

The purpose of this event is to remind citizens of the safety rules on ice. In addition, as part of the campaign, presentations are planned in workplaces and educational institutions.

Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations urge all residents of the district to be attentive and cautious when visiting water bodies during the winter period.
