In the Braslav District, a boat capsized on the lake with three intoxicated men, one of whom died. This is reported by BelTA citing the Investigative Committee.

The incident occurred on July 5 on Lake Strusto in the Braslav District. A group of friends was resting in one of the nearby villages. The men were drinking and then decided to take a ride on the boat. When a 60-year-old man from Minsk standing on board lost his balance and fell into the water, the boat capsized.

The men had to swim about 400 meters to the shore. The man who fell into the water could not swim — despite his friends' attempts to save him, he drowned.

The scene was inspected by the investigative operational group.
