В национальном парке «Браславские озёра» новый руководитель и новое здание лесничеств

In the national park "Braslav Lakes," there is a new director and a new forestry building.

Two significant events with the participation of the Chief of Staff of the President of the Republic of Belarus, Yuri Nazarov, took place this week in the National Park 'Braslav Lakes'.

Appointment

On Wednesday, Yuri Nazarov visited the nature conservation institution under the jurisdiction of the Chief of Staff of the President of the Republic of Belarus. The honored guest visited the tourist recreation bases 'Zolovo', 'Drivyaty', and the woodworking shop of the national park. A key moment of the trip to the Braslav district was a meeting with the staff and the introduction of the new general director of the State Production Unit 'Braslav Lakes'. He is Vladimir Misocenko, who previously headed the Postavy Forestry. In addition, during the conversation with the institution's employees, the results of the work for the past year were summarized, the main directions for the development of the national park were outlined, and new tasks for the current period were set.

Housewarming

Later, in the agro-town of Kozyany, an administrative building for two forestry units – Kozyansky and Dubrovsky – was opened in a festive atmosphere. This is a significant event for the entire nature conservation institution. Over the past few years, there has been a systematic effort to improve the working conditions of employees, updating and enhancing the material and technical base of the forestry units. The new building in Kozyany was constructed from scratch. The new building meets all modern requirements. Every element – from the foundation to the roof – was designed with the specifics of the forestry workers' work in mind.

The first thing you notice upon entering the new building is the feeling of warmth. Modern heating systems provide a comfortable microclimate, which is especially important for people whose work involves being outdoors in various weather conditions. Spacious, bright rooms create a favorable atmosphere for productive work. A special room with a kitchen has been designated for rest, where employees can have a meal during lunch. This is convenient because not only local residents work in the forestry units, but also people from neighboring Postavy. A beautiful conference hall is provided for collective gatherings. By the way, the entrance group of the building is equipped with facilities for citizens with disabilities.

The opening ceremony was attended by the Chief of Staff of the President of the Republic of Belarus, Yuri Nazarov, the general director of the State Production Unit 'Braslav Lakes', Vladimir Misocenko, and the chairman of the district executive committee, Vyacheslav Grishchenko. After the traditional cutting of the red ribbon, the hosts – the heads of the Dubrovsky and Kozyansky forestry units, Vladimir Pretkel and Oleg Buyalsky – conducted a tour for the guests. Local workers also had the opportunity to ask questions to Yuri Nazarov, Vladimir Misocenko, and Vyacheslav Grishchenko and receive answers on pressing issues.

"Forestry is the foundation of any nature conservation institution. A strong forestry unit means a strong national park or forestry. I believe that working conditions should be good, and the infrastructure should be modern. At the same time, it is necessary not only to put new buildings into operation but also to take care of training specialized specialists, working with schoolchildren, showing them the forestry units so that they see the prospects of forestry and have the motivation to work as foresters and in other positions," noted Yuri Nazarov during his visit to the forestry units.
