Children are in the spotlight! The Ministry of Emergency Situations campaign has launched in all corners of the country.
Unfortunately, statistics show that the majority of "fire" injuries sustained by children are based on two reasons: restless curiosity and negligence on the part of adults. And while it is impossible to prohibit a small person from exploring the surrounding world, it is within everyone's power to take care of their safety in advance.
From August 22, a preventive campaign "In the spotlight - children!" will start in the republic and will last until September 21. The events of the campaign, conducted in two stages, are aimed at drawing public attention to the problem of child fatalities and injuries from fires due to leaving them unattended.
Thus, from August 22 to 31, in large shopping centers and other retail outlets specializing in the sale of goods for preschool and school-age children, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations together with activists of the Belarusian Society for the Protection of Children and Youth will remind parents about the dangers of leaving children unattended and will advise on how to protect their families from emergencies. Here, rescuers also invite children to participate in the quest "Safety Exam 2022". Participants in the game will receive a special bracelet and a "Safety Diary", which contains tasks on life safety that must be completed to receive a "Certificate of Completion of the Safety Exam in 2022". The second stage of the campaign will take place from September 1 to 21 in educational institutions of the city. Safety lessons, interactive platforms, contests, and gifts - this and much more awaits all participants of the campaign!
