Check the potential seller

1. study information about the legal capacity of the potential seller, i.e., whether they can have rights and obligations depending on the purposes of their activities.
2. check whether the potential seller is in bankruptcy proceedings. This can be done through the Unified State Register of Bankruptcy Information (http://bankrot.gov.by/).
3. find out whether the potential seller is involved in legal disputes. The schedule of hearings for economic cases can be viewed on the website of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Belarus.

Check the transaction object

Analyze:

1. an extract from the Unified State Register of Real Estate, rights to it, and transactions with it (hereinafter — USRRE) regarding the property of interest.
2. an extract from the USRRE regarding the land plot on which the property is located.
3. technical passport.
4. a list of objects for which local government authorities have a preemptive right.
5. lease agreements concluded regarding the property.
6. documents for connection to heating, water, gas, and electricity supply networks.
