The Braslav region is located in the North-West of the Vitebsk oblast.
The region is a unique lake district with lakes occupying 10% of its territory. Apart from lakes, the region also proudly boasts its landscape, pine forests and fresh air.
The backbone of the region’s economy is agriculture and processing industries.
There are 13 agricultural production cooperative societies, three communal unitary agricultural companies, 13 farms. Braslavsky Raiagroservis offers technical maintenance to the abovementioned companies.
The National Park Braslav Lakes is located on the territory of 13 agricultural companies and has its subsidiary plot Urbany.
Regional agricultural companies specialize in cattle breeding, production of grain, potatoes, flax, vegetables and rape.
