MINSK, 21 October (BelTA) – In January-September 2024 Belarus’ fixed-capital investments amounted to Br29.6 billion, BelTA learned from the National Statistical Committee.
The regional breakdown is the following: Minsk Oblast is in the lead (24.4%) followed by Minsk (20.3%), Brest Oblast (13.5%), Gomel Oblast (13%), Grodno Oblast (10.4%), Mogilev Oblast (9.3%) and Vitebsk Oblast (9.1%).
As far as the technological structure of fixed-capital investments is concerned, construction and installation works accounted for 48.6%, machines, equipment, and vehicles - for 39.4%, and other kinds of works and costs - 12%.
The share of state investments in the total fixed-capital investments reached 42.9%, with the share of private investments at 52.1% and foreign investments at 5%.
